Day 1
Wow! It's week 9 of our daily activities! Here is Lizzy and Brogan with the tennis ball pick up.
This activity looks at your speed, agility and hand eye coordination.
See how quickly you can complete it!
Have a great day!
Day 2
Have a go today at learning the Haka!
The Haka is a traditional Maori war dance or war cry that was originally used before a battle.
It was used as a display of a tribes strength and togetherness.
Today the Haka is used as a display of pride and respect and the All Blacks rugby team do it before every match in front of their opponents.
Follow the link and have a go! Let us know how you get on.
Day 3
It's Wednesday! Due to technical difficulties Mr Giblett's weekly Wednesday challenge will be tomorrow.
Today the activity is Hopscotch, a fun, traditional game!
How to play -
Draw a hopscotch design on the ground.
Throw a flat stone or small object like a bean bag, a button etc to land inside the square, not touching the lines.
Hop through the squares, skipping the one you have your marker on.
Pick up the marker on your way back. When you get to the last number, turn around on one foot and hop back in reverse order. While you're on the square right before the one with your marker, lean down and pick it up, balancing on one foot. Then skip over that square and finish up.
Pass the marker on to the next person. You're goal is to complete the course with the marker on each square! The first person wins the game!
Day 4
Here is Mr Giblett's challenge for this week!
This one will really test your hand eye coordination!
How many times can you clap before you catch the ball?
Day 5
We love a dance on a Friday!
Head over to the Go Noodle page and give these fun dances a go!
Some of you will recognise the songs!
